Dr Chau Nguyen received her Undergraduate degree from Melbourne University Dental School in 2000 and furthered her studies with a Postgraduate Diploma in implants. She went on to teach at the University of Melbourne where she taught dental undergraduate students as a clinical demonstrator for crown and bridge.
Dr Chau has had extensive experience in all aspects of dentistry having worked in public community centres, country Victoria and now private practice, giving her the highest level of dental knowledge and experience for her patients.
Her special interests include implant dentistry, emergency care, cosmetic restorations and complex rehabilitation. Dr Chau regularly attends personal development courses and seminars in order to keep up to date with the latest dental knowledge, technology and methodology.
Dr Chau in her free time enjoys competing in the local dragon boat team, canoeing along the Yarra River, playing a round of golf with friends, and sitting down with a good book.
Joyce achieved her Bachelor of Dental Science from the University of Melbourne in 2006. Since then she gained valuable experience working in multiple practices across Queensland and Victoria.
Joyce currently works at DIEM and has enjoyed developing the practice with the team for the past six years. She also enjoys working in community health and providing dental treatment to those who may not be able to afford it. Joyce believes in the comfortable and respectful delivery of high quality dental treatment. She has special interest in preventative and restorative dentistry and believes in maintaining a life-long smile. When not practicing she enjoys spending time with loved ones including her new bub who is only a few weeks old.
Erica graduated with a Doctor of dental surgery at Melbourne university. Dr Jeong is a gentle and caring dentist who enjoys every facet of general dentistry. In particular she is passionate about restorative and paediatric dentistry. She believes in ethical, conservative and preventive approach in her practice.

Bhavi graduated at the Royal London dental hospital in 2004 and her early post graduate years were spent in hospital posts of oral surgery, and maxillofacial surgery at guy’s kings and st Thomas hospital in London. During this time she worked with numerous consultant clinics along with teaching undergraduate dental students. After gaining experience in public hospital surgical dentistry she went on to working in private practice, her main focus is developing clinic skills by completing extensive education, Dr Bhavi has worked in the Uk, Los Angeles, Boston and Switzerland as well as now in Australia. Dr Patel is one of few dental surgeons to hold a masters of science (msc) in implant dentistry. Her interests are implants, adult orthodontics, and sleep apnoea!! She moved to Melbourne in 2013 with her husband whom is a doctor and shortly after purchased colins precision dental in the Paris end of Colins street Melbourne. Dr Bhavi has now been at diem for the last 8 months. Outside of dentistry she enjoys sculpture and is an avid follower of the arts, having been surrounded by the world of art in London, she is a keen traveller and deeply enjoys immersing herself in other cultures
Nina graduated with a Bachelor of Oral Health from the University of Melbourne and has continued to hone her skills in both private and public practice. She is passionate about health promotion, and regularly visits early childhood learning centres to conduct oral screenings.
She is a general executive of the Australian Dental and Oral Health Therapists’ Association, to advocate for her profession, deliver professional development for her peers and assist graduating oral health therapists transition into the workforce.
Nina has a caring nature and ensures every dental visit is relaxing and enjoyable. She supports her patients to achieve their ideal smile.
